Average Joe Classifier
Our product is a classifier for someone who does not know/understand machine learning. The user will be able to upload their dataset, label the object(s) they want to classify, and then create a classifier without a large time commitment or an understanding of what is happening. The Average Joe Classifier bridges the gap between computer science and the average Joe.
Bios:
Lian Showl
Lian is a Computer Science major who has had an interest in pursuing data science and data processing within her internship experiences at NASA. After graduation, she will be working as a full-time Software Engineer on the Data Opertations System Team within NASA Goddard and NOAA's Geostationary Operationnal Environmental Satellties-R Series (GOES-R) at NOAA's Satellite Operations Facility in Maryland. Her favorite hobbies include going to concerts, exploring new Asian cuisines within the DMV area, and when time is abundant, crafting/DIY-ing decor/projects that would otherwise be very expensive.
Allison DeCicco
Allison is a Computer Science major. She is contiuning her studies and pursuing a master's degree in computer science. She is interested in continuing a career in national security. In her free time, she enjoys playing water polo, reading and exploring all the different fun places to eat in DC
Billy Miller
Billy is a Computer Science major with an interest in software development and machine learning. After graduation he will be returning to GW to pursue his master's degree in computer science. Outside of school he like to hike, rock climb, and play lacrosse.
